Quick Start Guide

By now you should have finished running the installation program and you are ready to optimize your modem. This section is a step-by-step guide to help you quickly optimize your modem, so that you can surf the Internet much faster than before.

Step-By-Step Guide

1. Double click on the icon labeled "Modem Booster" in the folder where you installed the program for the application to load.

2. Setup your dial-up profile by clicking on the menu "Tune-Up" -> "Configuration Wizard". Follow the instruction and provide the information required.

3. On the left view panel, select the desired Tune-Up suite you want to perform. We recommend that you run Auto Tune-Up , as this option will fully optimize your modem.

4. Once you have chosen Auto Tune-Up , click the "Play" button and Modem Booster will begin to optimize your modem. The program will dial, download and disconnect from your Internet Service Provider several times (see Online Status Report), in order to analyze and determine your best modem settings. The number of times this happens will differ from the Tune-Up you choose.

5. After the Tune-Up is completed, a Results Analysis view will appear on the right panel. This Results Analysis is a summary of how much "Performance Increase" you can gain, after your modem has been optimized by Modem Booster.
